Gaslit me to convince me I had the appointment time wrong.

She was also often late, distracted and did not do a good job.

She didn’t even call to say she was running late or apologize.

You might be wondering why I didn’t leave sooner.

Honestly, it was a really good price.

I see this all the time in careers, too.

We stay in job that undervalue us because the “price” feels right.

Whether it’s the steady paycheck, the comfort of routine, or the fear of change.

But if the cost if your time, your energy, and self-respect, it’s too expensive.

Sometimes the most empowering move you can make is to walk away, even if it means paying more or stepping into the unknown.

Your worth isn’t up for negotiation (and neither are your boundaries).
